Ambassador Ajadi Congratulates Nigerian Women On Mothers’ Day

If you are a woman in Nigeria, there is a special greeting for you, on this occasion of Mothers’ Day Celebration.

The special greeting  is coming from none other than an illustrious son, father and husband, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo.

The politician cum industrialist, has tremendous respect for women on account of their important contributions to humanity and is using the occasion of this year’s Mothers’ Day Celebration, to send that out.

In a special release congratulating all mothers, Ambassador is describing motherhood as an onerous responsibility, and mothers, as true moulders of destinies.

Ajadi, while congratulating all mothers on the celebration, used the opportunity to appeal to them not to lower their guards, especially against the backdrop of the prevailing economic challenges in the country.

He wondered what many children and indeed hustbands would have become without mothers around them, adding that the larger society needed the motherly roles of our women to become better.

Ambassador Ajadi, who a South West chieftain of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), also used the opportunity to reflect on his growing up years, and the sterling roles that his mother played then.

Describing the woman as an epitome of hard work and devotion, the politician-cum industrialist recalled that he drank from the cup of his mother’s entrepreneurial and social skills, which he said, today has helped him to become who he is.

Wondering what he could have become without those dotting roles from his mother, he stated that since he became a family man, that his wife had taken over commendably, not only helping to steer the home front, but giving him the sanity and encouragement to go out there and conquer.

“From my own mother down to my wife, it is evident that mothers are golden.

Mothers are not only the builders of homes, they are the main encouragers of the men in the house. In addition, mothers are the conscience of society.

“From cradle to adult life, mothers make a lot sacrifices for their children, for their family and for the nation. That is why we must use this year’s Mother Day celebration to appreciate them”

Ambassador Ajadi also used the opportunity to urge government to implement pro-women policies so that mothers could continue contribute maximally to society’s development.

Such could be in the form of affirmative policies that give more operating space for women in politics and the economy, as well as in the form of micro credits and palliatives that directly address women, and households.

“If you are a woman, a girl, a lady a mother, I appreciate you today. You are such a rare specie and blessing to humanity. I also pray that you live long and strong to fulfil your personal desires. Just know you are appreciated for the great values you bring to our lives and society”, Ambassador Ajadi stated in the Mothers’ Day message.
