When Does The Premier League Return?
On Monday, December 26, 2022—Boxing Day—the Premier League will restart.
Just eight days after the World Cup ends, Brentford takes on Spurs at the Community Stadium at 12:30 PM GMT (7:30 AM ET).
Later that day, Crystal Palace and Fulham, two rival London clubs, square off. At 8:00 p.m. (3:00 p.m. ET), Aston Villa will play Liverpool, followed by rivals Arsenal and West Ham.
Of course, a number of Premier League teams will be playing in the Carabao Cup before that, with Wolves playing Gillingham on December 20 and Leicester taking on MK Dons. On December 21, Nottingham Forest, Brighton, Newcastle, Southampton, and Manchester United compete in that competition. On December 22, Man City and Liverpool finish the round.
