The Gubernatorial Candidate of the New Nigerian People’s Party for Ogun State, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, has sent a message of congratulations to the newly elected governor of Kano State, Yusuf Kabir Abba.
Abba emerged governor in Kano following a keenly contested election, in which he polled 1,019,602 votes to defeat Yusuf Gawuna of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who got 890,705 of the votes cast.
Reacting to the feat, Ajadi said Abba’s feat showed his popularity with the people, and thus the right person to take the mantle of leadership in the state.
He prayed the almighty God to give him the wisdom and grace to lead his people.
He also described the victorious politician as a worthy ambassador of the party.

“I wholly congratulate you for this feat, which has shown your level of popularity and acceptability with the people of Kano.
“It is also a testament to the value that you have brought on the former positons you have occupied.
“It is my prayer that the almighty God would lead to deliver value to the Kano people who have shown implicit confidence in you”, Ajadi prayed.
