AIM Plans National Political Conference For Abeokuta Come April

Plans are in top gear for a National Political Conference with the theme: “Building an Egalitarian Society” come next April at the Ogun State capital of Abeokuta.

An initiative of the Ajadi Independent Movement (AIM), Ogun State chapter, it aspires to discuss sundry ways of using democracy to build a people -centred society where egalitarianism is the order of the day.
A release by the converner, Hon.Idowu Imoleayo Shola asserts that the group had already inaugurated a planning committee for the event, headed by a renowned politician from Remo-north, Hon.Bamodu Adetola .

According to the release, the event would be highlighting the transformative agenda of Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo since he entered partisan politics, in the state

It will this bring together Political Stakeholders from across the society to give records of the philanthropic activities of Ajadi in the last one year.

Hon Shola added that the conference would also showcase influential figures in Nigerian politics, providing a platform for them to provide thoughts on important national issues

“A key focus will be on empowering youth, with various initiatives planned to support and uplift the younger generation.

“This event will serves as a platform for AIM members across the 236 wards in Ogun State and various states to actively engage in the political discourse, emphasising the importance of grassroots participation of electorates in Support of Amb.Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo”, Hon Shola informed”, he added. .

According to Hon. Shola, the event is a collective effort towards positive change, and an opportunity to unite political stakeholders, intellectuals, and youths in the pursuit of an egalitarian society.
