AFCON 2023 Tit Bits: Senegal Coach Suffers, Despite Win

News is breaking from all corners at the AFCON 2023 soccer competitions in Cote d’Ivoire. Senegal coach Aliou Cisse was forced to spend a night under observation in hospital despite his team winning its game 3:1 against Cameroun.

The Teranga Lion as the Senegalese team is known is defending champions of the African Cup of Nations,

“He was a bit weakened, and the doctors preferred to take him to hospital and put him on a drip,” added the official, who was in the neighbouring city of Bouake to attend two Cup of Nations matches there on Saturday”, president of the Senegalese Football Federation Augustin Senghor had said.
