Adieu Blessing You Came And You Fought a Good Fight

BY AUSTIN OPUTA
Adieu Blessing Olawuyi. You came and you have fought a good fight of faith. You have finished your time on earth.
I am saddened to hear you have gone. Tears came down when I heard it. We spoke two days before your departure and you were better and sounded so good and strong and I promised to see you in few days.
We have been friends from youth, and through you and your husband my friend also from childhood. I met my wife when she came for your Thanksgiving after the accident. We talked and encouraged each other.
We went out together with our families on outings during holidays. A great teacher of the word you were, and when you were in Kings Voices at TREM Apapa you sang so well.
A great accountant that took care of my company books, you will be greatly missed. I know you are in a better place.
The day I took this picture last year, I was coming from Delta, and after driving for 5 hours went straight to your Thanksgiving/Birthday celebration because I couldn’t miss it.
To my friend and brother Pastor Sunny Olawuyi. Nothing I say can change what has happened, but I am here for you and your family during this time.
May the memories of Blessing bring you peace and comfort you and the children.

Take heart my friend and brother. Adieu Blessing
