Lagos Fire That Arrested Police IG’S Attention In Abuja

Forget about the negative criticisms of the Nigeria police, but when the men in uniform want to work, they do it with impressive precision.

Or how do you explain the assertion that almost immediately a huge flame of light rose to the skies in Lagos, the signal was almost immediately tracked in security quarters in Abuja.

In fact, our correspondent was reliably told that the fire caused a stir in the office of the IG that he immediately detailed men to go find out what was amiss.

They did, and this brought them to the  campus of the Nigerian institute of Journalism, where a rare fireworks had taken to the skies.
