What could have led to the death of a 35-year-old Naija man in the United Kingdom in what some may described as mysterious circumstance?

Ekeobong Omega Nelson, went to sleep on October 17 supposedly hale and hearty and of course plans for the next day, but never had the opportunity.

The unexpected demise has left his wife and two young children distraught.

The Nigerian Community in the United Kingdom (NCUK) announced his demise in a statement shared on X on yesterday.

Posting via @NCUKCommunity, the community described Nelson’s demise as a “devastating shock” to family, friends and members of the community as he was not known to be ill.

“He went to sleep and sadly did not wake up,” the statement reads in part.

The community further described his death as a painful loss and called on well-wishers to offer prayers, love and comfort to the bereaved family.
