Heavy sanctions have landed on the head of Ghanaian Pilot for grooming a 12 year old girl, and eventually sleeping with her in his car.
Kwame Yeboah, 30, from Reading in the United Kingdom drove nearly 200 miles to physically meet a 12 year old girl he had been grooming online.
The former British Airways Pilot got the sentence after admitting raping the girl whom he had met, groomed on social media.
He pleaded guilty at Liverpool Crown Court to three counts of rape and one count of sexual assault of a child under 13.
The Ghana-born pilot initially met the victim on the online chat platform Omegle before continuing to groom her via Instagram.

He later travelled travelled in his Mercedes from Reading to the Wirral in Merseyside, covering over 200 miles, with the intention of sexually abusing the schoolgirl, prosecutors said.
The intention paid off as he raped her twice in his car.
For these, the court slammed eight years sentence on Yeboah and another four months in custody, with an additional year on extended licence upon release.

Sentencing judge described the premeditated nature of the offences by the Ghanaian pilot as particularly serious, even as the case has added to the growing list of online grooming and the exploitation of children on social media platforms.
