The governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde has taken the deities’ land and would be taught due political lesson.
This is the assertion of former Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Fayose.
Fayose who made the assertions while appearing on a Channels Television programme, stated:
‘Makinde took the deities land, we’ll teach him a political lesson’
“We will teach Makinde a political lesson. If you respect me, you will get all my values and support, but if you disrespect me, you will get the downside of Fayose. I’m not a politician that is taken for granted.
“Makinde destroyed the South West Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and took my structure. When we are in politics, we are meant to be fair.

“Declaring for presidency was his undoing. He has the right to contest for president but we don’t betray trust. Elections are not far away again. We will get there.
“How do you see a Makinde starting with PDP and ending with APM? That tells you that he lost his leadership to coordinate the party in the southwest
“Gov Makinde came to Ekiti to put up a structure against my leadership..”
The outspoken politicians said if nothing else, that what Nigerians should remember him for, is that when he says something they come to pass.
Making reference to the turn of events in the just concluded state election won by Governor Abiodun Abayomi Oyebanji, he stated that it did not come to him as a surprise, and that he even hinted at it.
He said one thing going for the politician is that he has been steady, consistent and reaching out to the key stakeholders.
“From what I saw over two years I knew this would happen”.
