Uncontrolled libido has harvested for a man, a price he never bargained for: sentence to life imprisonment.
A Family Court II, presided over by Hon. Justice Blessings Obin Egwu, handed down the sentence to one Mr Endurance Ime Sandy, yesterday.
This followed the conclusion of the trial, lasting several months of 41 year old Sandy, for the rape of an 11-year-old girl.
Justice Egwu said from all evidence available to him, that the the convict was guilty and deserved no mercy.
His conviction, the judge said, should serve as a big lesson to individuals with uncontrolled libido, and whose stock-in-trade is to violate minors.
