American Voters Approve Of Trump Despite Immigration Deportations

American still approve of Donald Trump’s immigration deportations, despite a rave of sieges, arrests and wild unrests in town.

This conclusion is drawn from their approval ratings following a poll which shows Trump getting his best marks from voters on immigration, though overall approval remains low

Thus, in the CBS News/YouGov poll American voters are more likely to approve of the president’s immigration policies that has triggered the immigration deportations than his handling of other major national and international issues.

The poll was conducted before Trump ordered National Guard troops into Los Angeles amid protests against immigration raids, but it showed 54% of Americans supported Trump’s deportation policy, while 42% of poll respondents approved of Trump’s handing of the economy and 39% who said the same of Trump’s approach to tackling inflation.

However, generally speaking, 9 per cent of the respondents say they believe things are going “very well” in America compared to 32 % who say it is going “somewhat well”.

26% say things are going “somewhat badly” and the highest percentage figure of 33% say it is going “very badly”.

From the poll, 31 % Americans believe the economy is getting better; 51% say it is getting worse whereas 18% say it is still about the same.
