Police Reveals Cause of Death of UK-based, Nigerian Nurse

The cause of death of United Kingdom-based Nigerian nurse, Nnena Miriam, has been revealed, The Eagle can report.
28 year old Mirian who was based in Leeds, was tragically found dead in her Leeds apartment on Tuesday, April 29, 2025.
The death immediately left the Nigerian community there in deep sorrow, but now the cause of death has been revealed.
Fellow Nurse, quoting preliminary investigations by the police, said Miriam, whom they described a dedicated healthcare professional, was discovered alongside the body of a 32-year-old man, identified as her former partner from Bradford.
According to them, authorities were alerted after a close friend, concerned by days of unanswered messages since her last hospital shift on Sunday, filed a missing person report. They said police arrived at the shared accommodation on Dawlish Road around 8:35 p.m. and made the devastating discovery.Nurse Miriam suffered a knife wound and signs of strangulation.
They said that while the exact cause of death for both individuals remains under investigation, a full autopsy is scheduled this week to provide more insight into the events that led to this horrifying outcome.
