A superstore still remains under lock and key, leading customers stranded after it experienced a bomb scare Monday.’
Thousands of customers who have access to a variety of products were disappointed today that it was yet to come over the scar.
The China Town Super Store is located at the former Game Stores in Lugogo, Kampala, Uganda, and is famous for offering a range of products, in addition to what many describe as lower prices.
The company is using a blend of megaphone announcements and wall posters to notify the public it wa yet to reopen.
Giving reason for the continued shutdown through a megaphone, an official said the security scanners had malfunctioned, forcing management to postpone the reopening after the bomb scare two days ago.

A notice on one of the pillars also announced that there would be no reopening today. Police who had been deployed to provide security at the opening were seen filing away, The Independent reported.

One potential shopper, however, accused the shop of having deliberately closed the store to cause more hype. In response, the voice on the megaphone said matters of security should always be taken seriously.
By the time of filing this story, shoppers were still hanging around in the hope that the store management would change their mind and reopen in the course of the afternoon.
