Odo Bridge: Ogun residents within the Olambe, Denro and Akute axis are facing challenges commuting in and out of their neigbourhood.
This is as a a result of the non-completion of the Odo bridge, which has resulted into flooding of the road from the nearby canal.
Vehicles, tricycles and commercial motorcycles now have to take a detour through the Akute-Alagbole road.
Aside the inconveniences, the additional costs is something that the people have been complaining about. Our correspondent observes that when the water tide is low, there is a rush to use the bridge, but which becomes very risky once it rains.
The Eagle reports that though the construction started September of last year, it has faced disruptions ever since, while the people await the completion.
Commuters, drivers and others have no option but to pass a longer route to get to their destinations and it has been challenging.

The governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun has made promises during the presidential election that he would intensify effort in completing the bridge, but this does not seem to be so.
Odo local government and other Nigerians are suffering the heavy flood in the area and the Ogun state government needs to put more effort in constructing the bridge.
