In the ongoing Israel-Hamas War, where would you stand – with people defending themselves or those maiming babies?

This was the curious poser put before the global community by the Ambassador of Israel to Nigeria, Michael Freeman today in Abuja.

Freeman who was briefing journalists on the ongoing Israel-Hamas war, that has already claimed hundreds of lives and got the world on the edge, plain way to explain what was going on.

Expressing concern over the nature and magnitude of the attack on Israeli festival goers which triggered the war, he expressed concerns over allegedly killings of about 1000 unsuspecting civilian Israeli citizens by Hamas group, describing such as act of terrorism.

 “It is important to state at this point that this is not a war that is between Israel and Palestine.

“This is not about Israel and Palestine.

“This is about Israel and Hamas; this is about good and evil, this is about civilization and barbarism”.

 “That is what this is about, it is not about anything else.”

The envoy as much as Israel was available for peaceful resolution of the conflict, but that it was however respond to the attack by Hamas group on civilians in the country.

The killings of about 1000 unsuspecting civilian and Israeli citizens by Hamas was an act of terrorism, he stated

 “So, Israel is going to react, we. Have declared war on Hamas”, he said, adding however that his country would do everything within its powers to avoid civilian casualties

“If Hamas will surrender, this (the war) will be over tomorrow morning.

 “I am focused on dealing with Hamas and I am focused on stopping it”, the envoy added.

The Eagle reports that the Israel-Hamas War literally took the world by storm. Since it broke, the world has become even more polarised along both ethnic, religious and ideological lines.

There have equally been suggestions that the Israel-Hamas War is indicative of the end time.
