At the official Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) forex trading segment, Naira is traded at N419.19 to 1 US Dollar, today August 10th, 2022.
As against Tuesday’s trading session which was, N418.47/$1, the local currency witnessed a decline of 0.17 per cent against its counterpart.
At the Investors and Exporters (I&E) window, where formal forex trades take place, the exchange rate between the naira and the US dollar closed at N428.75/$1.
On Tuesday, August 9th, 2022, the naira strengthened by 0.52% to conclude trading at N428.75/$1, up from N431/$1 in the previous trading session.
Meanwhile, in the parallel market, also known as the black market, Naira commenced the day at N683/$1 while currently trading at N681/$1 in the P2P segment.
