The 2020 edition of the Baale Ajegunle Agege Unity cup took off in earnest yesterday, with Asade team recording a win over their first opponent, Guinness.

The match which was played at the Yidi field in Agege, saw Guinese, runners up last year slumping 0-1,thereby conceding the maximum 3 points up for the match. 

 The goal came through Fatai Mustapha’s super strike in the 67th minute of the encounter.

Mustapha was to tell The Eagle correspondent later that the match was tight despite his winner, and that the two teams played as if it was real war.

“I dedicate my goal to my family and my Coach”, he added, promising to bang in a total of 25 goals in the course of the competition.

That way, he said he would emerge the highest goal scorer.
