3 Things Adiyan Water Works Will Do For Lagosians Upon Completion–Sanwo-olu

Phase 2 of the Adiyan Water Works would be completed in a matter of months and the Lagos government has restated how the key project would benefit Lagos and Lagosians upon completion.
Lagos state Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu who was accompanied by his Deputy, Obafemi Hamzat, while leading an inspection team there, listed the key things that the project would do for Lagosians thus:
- supply Lagos residents with seventy million gallons of water per day, a service critical for both domestic and other uses.
- enhance socio-economic lifestyle of residents
- impact on the living standards of the people
Sanwo-Olu while thanking the residents for their cooperation, expressed satisfaction on the spate of works by the contractor.
He promisd that the state government would improve Independent Power Project in Akute to power the facility.

Earlier, the Commissioner For Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, had said the state government had continued to rededicate itself to providing Lagosians access to adequate pipe-borne water.
General Manager of the Lagos State Water Corporation, Mukhtaar Tijani, while thanking Governor Sanwo-Olu’s team for its supports, assured that the Adiyan Water Works, which was awarded in 2012 would be delivered in due time.
