2025 Hajj Operations: Here Are The Airlines Approved To Airlift Pilgrims

The Federal Government has released a list of the four airlines approved for the 2025 Hajj operations. to transport pilgrims to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Executive Chairman, National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Prof. Abdullahi Usman, released the names of the 4 airlines in a statement yesterday in Abuja.

The statement, issued by the commission’s Assistant Director, Information and Publication, Mrs Fatima Usara, explained that the 4 airlines were selected out of the 11 that submitted applications.

The 4 airlines approved for the 2025 Hajj Operations are Air Peace Ltd., Fly-Nas (Saudi airline), Max Air, and UMZA Aviation Services Ltd.

A 32 member-team inaugurated by the NAHCON on Nov. 26, 2024, screened and shortlisted airlines for the airlift.

It included representatives from State Pilgrims’ Welfare Boards, Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET), and Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB).

There were also representations from Nigerian Customs’ Service (NCS), the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC), NAHCON Board members representing each geo-political zone of the country, NAHCON Heads of Aviation, Procurement, Legal, Internal Audit, Special Duties as well as Board Member representing the Aviation industry.

In the same vein, 3 excess cargo carriers were selected for the 2025 Hajj Operations, and these are Aglow Aviation Support Services Ltd, Cargozeal Technology Ltd and Qualla Investment Ltd.,
