2023: Why God Hasn’t Revealed Elections Prophesy To Me – Adeboye

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, has stated that God has not yet revealed whether or not there will be elections in the nation in 2023.

The campaigns of numerous political parties and candidates have gathered steam with only three months till the general elections.

The prominent minister made this assertion on Friday while preaching at the church’s regular “Holy Ghost Service” gathering in its camp for at-risk individuals.

Adeboye lamented the state of the nation in front of his audience and apologized for alarming anyone, although he did mention that God had not yet revealed whether or not the general elections in 2023 will go place.

He said, “I have not been told anything about next year’s election by God.”

In the midst of the yet-to-come prophecy from God, Pastor Adeboye further clarified that he is a pastor and not a prophet, insisting that God alone determines what transpires after he prays. He also noted that he prayed for everyone who approached him seeking for prayers.

“My duty is to pray. I pray for anyone who comes to me for prayers. It is left for God to decide what happens.”

Adeboye shared talks on the event’s subject, “Let It Rain,” and read from 2 Chronicles 7:13–14, exhorting Christians to pray constantly and asking God to heal the land.

Furthermore, he noted that in the spiritual world, rain is connected to benefits, God’s joy, fruitfulness, and divine supply, adding that rain is a symbol of hope, restoration, and divine favor.

Also, the RCCG General overseer criticized the Central Bank of Nigeria’s proposed redesign of the N200, N500, and N1,000 banknotes on Friday (CBN).

The esteemed clergyman expressed disappointment that the Federal Government is worried with redesigning naira notes despite the national currency’s declining value.

The naira is not even worth the paper it is printed on, according to Adeboye, who spoke during the church’s November Holy Ghost Service with the subject “Let It Rain.” People cannot afford to feed themselves.

“You know what’s going on in our country. It doesn’t even make sense anymore. Our naira now is not even worth the paper it is printed on,” the octogenarian said at the programme held at the RCCG’s international headquarters along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

“And while people are hungry, trying to find enough money to buy bread to eat, our bosses are thinking of making the naira more beautiful, even if it can’t buy bread, at least, it will look beautiful. Oh Lord, have mercy,” he said.

According to him, things have become funnier in Nigeria. “We have problems in the land now. Things seem to be getting funnier and funnier. If you don’t learn to laugh in Nigeria now, you will develop hypertension,” the cleric stated.
