2023: Ogun Movie Makers Pledge Support For Ajadi, Appoints Him As Grand Patron

Ogun State chapter of the Indigenous Movie Makers Association of Nigeria, IMMAN, has appointed the state, New Nigerian Peoples Party, NNPP, gubernatorial candidate, Olufemi Ajadi, as its grand patron and pledged to support his gubernatorial ambition to emerge as the next Ogun State Governor.

The President of IMMAN, Sunday Isaac, said that the association is a group of talented Nigerians who have been propagating the pride of the state through entertainment.

He added that members of the executive of the association and with more than two thousand members had met and agreed to vote for Ajadi in the 2023 gubernatorial election.

“Our organisation that has been known for moral values educator and cultural integration of the state would be propagating your political ministry to make your 2023 vision a realistic one,” he said.

The chairman Board of Trustees of the association, Adeleke Egberongbe, said he had not been practising partisan politics, adding that, however, the love he has for the New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP, would make him vote for Ajadi as the next governor of Ogun State.

He said, “The word ‘New’ in the name of the party, New Nigeria People’s Party, has made me believe that we are achieving a new Nigeria soon through the new faces with genuine minds.”

“I am assuring you that with your financial support, we are producing a movie title: ‘Ajadi-Iko’ to support your gubernatorial race by distributing the copies among the people of Ogun State,” he said.

While acknowledging the given position as the patron of IMMAN, Olufemi Ajadi said that he was grateful to the party chairman, Sunday Olaposi Oginni, that saw this potential in him and invited him to contest for the position of the state governor.

He added that IMMAN would be recognised by the government of Ogun State for its cultural heritage if NNPP emerged as the winner in the 2023 gubernatorial election.

“May Almighty God bless NNPP, bless IMMAN and bless the entire electorates of Ogun State,” he said.
