It is reaction to this, and against the 2022 Worlds AIDS Day that a lecturer, Dr Oluwatoyin Ogunwale has advocated what may sound harsh to some ears.
He is of the opinion that Nigerians who stigmatise those living with it should serve jail terms.
Ogunwale, who is of the Department of Education for Hearing Impairment, Federal College of Special Education, Oyo stated so while speaking today at the 2022 World Aid Day.
The event was organised by Sunshine Nursery and Primary School, Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife.
