Who finished as the Europa League top scorer in 2021-22?

In the 2021–22 season, Eintracht Frankfurt went on a spectacular run that culminated in a 5–4 victory over Rangers in penalties after the score stayed tied at 1–1 after extra time.

They made history by becoming just the third side in UEFA Europa League history to win the tournament without dropping a single match from the group stage to the championship game. The historic 3-2 victory over Barcelona at the Camp Nou was a part of that unbeaten streak.

The second-place team, Rangers, also enjoyed the competition. The dynamic Scottish team, captained by James Tavernier, overcame formidable foes like Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig to advance to their first European championship final in 14 years.

Tavernier won the Golden Boot title despite playing right back and scoring 7 goals in 15 games during the competition.
