
One of the aspirants and former Lagos State commissioner of works, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, has threw his weight behind the candidacy of Babajide Sanwo-olu, after announcing his withdrawal from the race to the Alausa government house.
Meanwhile, the governorship primary election of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has been scheduled for Sunday 30th September.
The race is now to be keenly contested between incumbent Akinwunmi Ambode and Babajide Sanwo-Olu who declared an interest to contest the primary election.
Meanwhile, Hamzat has directed his supporters to support Sanwo-Olu by casting
their votes for for him during the
party’s primary tomorrow assuring his followers he can vouch for
Sanwo-Olu’s integrity and personal
intelligence.
