1xCup 2024 Draws Unveil Opponents At Group Stage
1xCup 2024 and its associated activities took the centrestage at the elite Radisson Blu Hotel in Ikeja, Lagos, July 24, and it is all the bid to promoting grassroots football.
It was the 1xCup 2024 tournament draws and a press conference event, turned a gathering of stars, from ex-internationals to budding footballers, team managers, sports promoters, the sporting press and other show impresariosa .
With N20 million as prize money this time round, local and international exposures through tours and possible endorsements for stars who stand out, the event was deservedly loud, indicating also, the seriousness with which the company takes its intervention in Nigeria’s football.
The event was hosted by Tracy «Suo» Chapele-Ugo, 1xBet ambassador and Nigeria’s first female sports commentator, and by the popular MC Babajide Guerrero. The draw was assisted by former Super Eagles players -“Gangling” Victor Agali and midfielder pro, Friday Ekpo, .

‘This year’s cup brought a record number of participants, with over 160 teams applying. 40 of them were carefully selected to participate in the preliminary play-off round, after which the top 10 teams joined the 10 seeded participants in the group stage.

The draw culminated in the display of the 1xCup trophy, which was admired by all those gathered at Radisson Blu.
