The Eagle Correspondent reliably gathered that while the tea seller insisted that his customer, identified as Hammed Aliko, had paid for his service, the customer argued otherwise.
It was in the process that fight broke out between the two, during which they freely traded blows.
An eye witness, Master Bode Olaiya, who was taking tea and fried egg in the shop at the time of the incident, told our correspondentr: ”All we knew is that the duo were arguing over change of a thousand naira and later they started raising their voices which then led to their fight. We were trying to separate them when suddenly Hammed took a sharp object from his pocket and used it to chuck Musa on his neck”.
Our correspondent learnt that immediately the victim fell, the people around including the assailant fled, cleaving him lying helplessly on the floor.
When our correspondent approached a police man who happened by, he said:
“The case is going to be charged to the court and Hammed will remian in the custody till then”.
