The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) has issued a warning to the public to disregard a purported recruitment announcement circulating online for the Port Harcourt Refining Company (PHRC).

According to the company, the recruitment announcement is fake and the handiwork of fraudsters seeking to take advantage of the newly revamped Port Harcourt Refinery to scam unsuspecting members of the public.

NNPC Ltd clarified that there is no separate recruitment process for the Port Harcourt Refinery, and that the ongoing recruitment process, which started last year, encompasses all NNPC Ltd’s businesses. Successful candidates from the Computer-Based Aptitude Test are scheduled to proceed to the interview stage this week.

The company urged members of the public to be cautious and not fall for the fake recruitment announcement.
