In a candid interview on the talk show ‘Your View’ hosted by TVC, renowned Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe has bravely opened up about a traumatic incident of sexual harassment that nearly drove her out of the movie industry.

Aigbe recounted her experience with a producer in Surulere who, despite her success in a rigorous three-stage audition, assigned her a minor role for an upcoming film. Expressing her dissatisfaction, she confronted the producer, only to be met with a shocking revelation. The producer, who had allegedly been making advances before, attempted to touch her inappropriately.

Indignant and feeling insulted, Aigbe took a bold stand, asserting that such behavior was unacceptable despite having earned the role.
