Osolo Endorses Sanwo-Olu As The Next Governor

There are indications that the Royal ruler of Isolo town, HRM Oba Kabir Adelaja Agbabiaka, may have endorsed the All Progressive Congress gubernatorial candidate for Lagos State for next year’s gubernatorial election, Babajide Sanwo-olu, as the next governor.

He made the endorsement last Friday at the monarch’s palace at Isolo.

Sanwo-olu had taken to his twitter handle at 1:17pm today to express gratitude for the support and trust the monarchical ruler deposited in him, before endorsing him as the next political ruler of the state.

He wrote: “Today, we were at the palace of the Osolo of Isolo, HRM Alaiyeluwa Oba Kabir Adelaja Agbabiaka. He gave his blessings and endorsement. We are grateful for the trust put in us and we will work hard #ForAGreaterLagos”

In this post, a picture of the king was displayed raising Sanwo-olu and his to-be Deputy Governor, Dr Obafemi Hamzat, hands as a sign of endorsement for the political post they are aspiring for.

Babajide Sawo-olu was elected as the APC governorship aspirant for Lagos state on 2, October 2018, and Hamzat, who is now appointed as his deputy also contested against him during the party’s primary election that ushered Sanwo-olu as the gubernatorial candidate.BY
