PHOTOS: South Africans Pour Out In The Streets, Protest Against Nigerians

Anti-Nigerian sentiments are overflowing in South Africa once again with thousands of them pouring out into the streets in a protest against Nigerians.

It was like a flash back to the anti-apartheid era where local agitations against white minority rule, usually flowed out in the streets.

Yesterday protesters were in their hundreds and were spearheaded by members of political parties and the xenophobic vigilante group Operation Dudula.

Their demand centred tougher action against foreigners in Durban, with agency reports stating that South African police fired rubber bullets and teargas to try to disperse them.
