There has been mixed reactions which have continued to trail the ‘resignation’ of Kemi Adeosun as Nigeria’s Finance Minister.
It has been reported earlier that Adeosun reporterly resigned from the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.
The Finance Minister allegedly resigned over allegations that she forged her National Youth Service Corps certificate.
Moments after the news broke, Nigerians took to the micro-blogging site, Twitter to react to the matter.
While some commended Adeosun for her alleged resignation, others called on President Buhari to probe her over the alleged forged NYSC certificate.
See Their Reactions Below:
Kemi Adeosun's reported resignation is not enough, she should be prosecuted over the alleged forged NYSC discharge certificate. @dadiyata @MBuhari @GarShehu @FemAdesina

ON MY RADAR
Finance Minister Kemi Adeosun today resigned from PMB Govt. She allegedly said she felt that her position is becoming untenable and is hurting the President in the run up to the 2019 election. Cc @Gidi_Traffic

A Nigerian Minister, Kemi Adeosun has resigned. I don’t remember tweeting “reigned” beside the name of a Nigerian minister. This was late in coming but better late than never.

Kemi Adeosun has resigned, she made a good decision, this is strange in a country like Nigeria where it’s almost an abomination for leaders to resign. I commend her!

So if Kemi Adeosun wasn't hurting the political perception of Buhari, she would have stayed on.
"Integrity" has been become an item of expediency.

Kemi Adeosun resigning is not what the law dictates. There will be “no sacred cows” when she’s arrested and prosecuted for the alleged forgery of NYSC Certificate. That is the law. Until then, this is just another episode of epic nollywood series. https://t.co/YRRPE9CT9V
