Kebbi Abduction Would Have Been Averted If… Primate Elijah Ayodele

The recent abduction of school children in Kebbi State would have been averted had the warnings of Primate Elijah Ayodele been heeded.

The prophet of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, had usually issued warnings of things likely to happen and did so as relating to the latest abductions.

In the warnings during an interview last March, he had alerted the Nigerian Police and military formations to quickly work to thwart plans of impending kidnapping of school children in Nigerian academic institutions.

He warned that new groups of terrorists would spread to other states of the federation to perpetrate their acts and that president Bola Tinubu should move swiftly to prevent their actions.

He made this revelation shortly after a similar incident in Kaduna.

“It is no longer Boko Haram or any existing group that is behind these kidnappings; it is a new group, and they will soon name it”, Primate Elijah Ayodele had said.

“It’s a new terrorism syndicate that must be defeated. We should commit our military in prayers to defeat terrorism; we must not allow terrorists to ruin this government”, he had added.

According to him:

‘’These terrorists want to scare people from going to school, they want to destroy the future of this country, but Tinubu shouldn’t agree. He should cooperate with the security outfits to defeat terrorism.

‘’If the government doesn’t act on this, they are ready to move to other states. The government must wake up and curb this now if not, school children will be kidnapped in other states apart from the north.’’

In fulfilment of this prophetic warning, terrorists in the early hours of Monday stormed the Maga Comprehensive Girls’ Secondary School in Kebbi State, abducting an unspecified number of female students and killing at least one staff member.

A school guard was also injured during the attack, which occurred around 5:52 am.

The attackers invaded the school compound while the students were preparing for morning routines, launching their assault with sporadic gunfire.

Primate Elijah Ayodele has remained constant issuing warnings and alerts that concern both individuals corporate organiations and the nation.
