United States president, Donald Trump is seeking the backing of the US Supreme Court to enable him revoke the temporary legal status of migrants.
His predecessor, Joe Biden had granted temporary legal status to thousands from such countries as Nicaragua, Haiti Venezuela and Cuban, and Trump, in pursuit of his resolve of driving unqualified immigrants, want to send these packing.
Reports monitored by The Eagle show that the administration’s legal team are working to ensure the president’s bid falls through.
Part of the hurdle on the president’s way is an order by the District Court in Boston, halting the Trump order to terminate the immigration parole of illegal immigrants in place during the Joe Biden administration.
Trump lived up to his presidential campaign promise to sanitise America of illegal immigrants, signing an executive order to the effect first day back in office.
The Department of Homeland Security moved to terminate the programs in March, including cutting short the two-year parole grants for about 400,000 people, reports say.

The administration said revoking the parole status would make it easier to place the migrants in a fast-track deportation process known as “expedited removal.”
The plaintiffs, a group of individuals granted parole and sponsors, sued administration officials claiming the government violated federal law governing the actions of agencies.
