Police Go After Killers Of Ogbete Main Market Chairman
Police in Enugu have gone after the killers of the chairman of Ogbete Main Market Traders Association, Stephen Aniago.
The pursuit has been confirmed by spokesperson of the Police Command there, Daniel Ndukwe,
Ndukwe said the Ogbete Main Market Chairman was shot and killed by unknown gunmen on Saturday night at Topland, along Amechi Road.
According to a statement
In a statement he released on the crime, the command spokesman, said away with his blue-colored Toyota Corolla car.
The statement that though Aniago was rushed to the hospital by police operatives, he was pronounced dead by doctors.
His corpse has been deposited in the mortuary for further investigation.

As the police go after the killers, their boss, the Commissioner of Police Kanayo Uzuegbu has ordered tactical squads to deploy all necessary resources to hunt down the assailants.
He has also directed the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the State CID to conduct a discreet investigation into the incident.
The CP has also assured that his men would not leave any stone unturned towards bringing the perpetrators of the act to justice, promising that this would be as soon as possible.
