How Ronaldo Broke Record With Brace At Al-Awwal Stadium

One of contemporary football strikers, Christiano Ronaldo, today broke record in one of the Saudi Pro League games, scoring a brace.
This was in a match of the 2023-24 pro league, between Al Nassr and Al Ittihad played at the Al-Awwal Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
It was a game of grits and skills right from the blast of the whistle, including a late challenge on Shanqiti by Mane early in the game which earned the latter a yellow card.
In the tenth minute, fans had yelled in excitement when Ronaldo finished a cross into the net from a tight angle but which the referee ruled offside.
A dramatic change in the proceedings happened in the 12th minute after Mane’s dribble down the right flank was terminated by a tackle that brought him down.

It was just 30 yards out of goal and Ghareeb was able to deliver it to the far post but there was no one there to tuck it in.
Said and done, Cristiano Ronaldo scored two goals for Al Nassr against Al Ittihad to break the record for most goals scored in a Saudi Pro League season. These were in the 46th and 49th minutes of the game.
