By Oluwaseyi Jimoh
What seemed impossible in Abia has now been made possible, Gov Alex Otti of the state has declared.
The Governor made this proclamation when recently , he visited Aba mega Hall for the Global Crusade with Pastor W. Kumuyi, of Deeper Life ministry.
He also used the opportunity to reaffirm his desire to lead the State out of a place of disdain to that of dignity.
Dr Otti appreciated the Convener for choosing Abia state for the crusade.
He also appreciated the people of Enyimba for coming out en masse for the crusade.
He further reinstated his plans to make the road leading to Port Harcourt which has been abandoned for the past 20 years pliable.
He affirmed that the contract which was awarded to Julius Burger was about to be completed.
“To the glory of God, I have spent 11 supercharged months in office and what seems impossible, is now made possible. This is still early morning, greater things are coming by His Grace”
His Excellency further charged the people of Abia state to ignore pessimists that something notable could be achieved in the state.
Otti spurred them to respond like Philip in the Bible, who found Jesus of Nazareth but was asked by Nathaniel if anything good could come out of Nazareth; Philip did respond thus- “Come and see”.
Governor Alex Otti, was accompanied to the event by his Chief of Staff- Pastor Caleb Ajagba (PhD), the Commissioner for Petroleum and Mineral Resources- Professor John Ogbomna and the Special Assistant to the Governor on Religious Matters- Apostle Kenneth Wiper.
He further assured the citizens of Abia state that- ” the best is yet to come.”
