Juventus To Cash In On McKennie Amid Man Utd Links
Weston McKennie, a midfielder for the United States national team, is reportedly being considered by Juventus as a summer signing rather than letting him go for free in 2019.
The Old Lady may attempt to transfer the 25-year-old at the conclusion of the season in order to capitalise on his strong performances, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, who reports that they have not been able to come to an agreement over a new contract.

McKennie has seen a significant improvement in his luck after appearing to fall out of favour at Juventus during the previous season, which led to a fruitless loan stint at Leeds. With 34 games for the Turin team and 10 assists, the former Schalke player—who has been linked to Manchester United—has undoubtedly been one of their greatest performers this year. In spite of this, it appears that Juventus are willing to let him go because the contract negotiations haven’t progressed too far.
McKennie, who has a Harry Potter lightning bolt tattoo on his finger and his goal celebration is to wave an imaginary wand, played 20 times for Leeds last season but failed to score a goal as they finished in the bottom three of the Premier League.
While contract talks may continue with Juventus and McKennie behind the scenes, the Italian giants host AC Milan on Saturday in a battle between third and second respectively in Serie A.
