Dani Alves Spotted Partying Until 5am After Jail Release

Dani Alves, the disgraced former defender for Barcelona, was seen celebrating till the wee hours after being released on bond from prison.

After being released from prison, Alves partied at his villa in Esplugues de Llobrega until five in the morning, according to Telecinco (via TyC Sports). The celebration was held in honour of Alves’s father’s birthday, and the former Barcelona defender began in a restaurant before returning home to revel into the wee hours of the morning.

According to reports, Alves’ bail-released from prison the day before the celebration. Following the payment of his €1 million (£850,00/$1.09 million) bail bond, Alves was released from prison after serving 14 months. Alves, who was convicted of rape and given a four-year, six-month prison sentence, has appealed his conviction and is currently awaiting the outcome. The Brazilian’s bail conditions also required him to surrender his passports and appear in court once a week.

There has been speculation over how Alves managed to pay his bail bond. Neymar’s father has denied rumours that he paid the money to ensure the Brazilian’s release, while former Barcelona team-mate Memphis Depay‘s agent has also insisted the Dutchman was not involved. Sebastien Ledure told Informativos Telecinco: “This is fake news. It is false news, it is not true at all.”

For a while, the 40-year-old might be able to enjoy his independence. Marca claims that his appeal might not be considered until the beginning of 2025.
