What is the black market Dollar to Naira exchange rate today March 19, 2024?

The Eagle reports that the Dollar to Naira exchange rate at the parallel market otherwise known as the Aboki market is traded at N1600/$1 in Lagos and Abuja.

The buying rate trades at N1595/$ while the selling rate trades at N1600/$ in contrast to N1610 it concluded yesteday’s session.

The Naira further appreciated against the US Dollar in the Nigerian Autonomous Foreign Exchange Market (NAFEM) on Monday, March 18 by 0.32 per cent to close at N1572.86/$1 as against Friday’s value at N1,602.75/$1.

The intraday high closed at N1,640/$ on Monday, lower than N1,615.50 per dollar on Friday on the spot. Also, the intraday low depreciated to N1,400 from N1,524.99 on Friday.

The daily FX market turnover also appreciated by 2.19 per cent to $140.45m on Monday compared to $137.43 million recorded on Friday.
