VIDEO: Tennis Legend Djokovic Hits CR7’s Iconic ‘Siu’ Celebration

Legendary tennis player Novak Djokovic recreated Cristiano Ronaldo’s famous “siu” celebration after the player scored in an Indian Wells game.
The Serbian is currently in California to take part in the 2024 BNP Paribas Open. On Friday, Djokovic was seen playing a casual game of football with colleagues where he scored a goal around Stefanos Tsitsipas’ leg. After finding the back of the net, the legendary player was seen copying Cristiano Ronaldo’s iconic celebration.

The trademark ‘siu’ celebration sees the Portuguese superstar performing a mid-air pirouette before exclaiming “si!” (sometimes spelled “siu”) – which is Spanish for “yes!” – upon landing. It is an expression of delight at scoring. Over the years, the Al-Nassr star has performed several celebrations but the ‘siu’ remains one of his most iconic.
The 39-year-old will play his next game on Monday when the Saudi Pro League team plays the second leg of their quarterfinal AFC Champions League match against Al Ain of the United Arab Emirates.
