When Rotary Club Of Epe Receives Charter

Epe,The Rotary club international on Saturday June 16 presented the charter certificate to the newly formed Rotary Club Epe.

The occasion which held at the Epe Charlet Grand Ball Room, attracted important dignitaries.

Otunba T J Abass,who, by default represented His Excellency,Governor Akinwunmi Ambode at the event, enjoined the members to be steadfast in their commitment to the service of humanity as Governor Akinwunmi Ambode has demonstrated with his style of governance in Lagos state.

He described the governor’s style as compassionate -reaching out to the deprived in our society.

He added that this style has enabled the governor to achieve so much success in Lagos State.

Abass cited what he described as an array of life-changing Initiatives,unprecedented infrastructural regeneration across the state saying these were land mark achievements and testaments  to the success of the administration of Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode.

In his remarks, the District  Governor, Dr Wale Ogunbadejo, who was represented by his predecessor, Mr Omotosho, congratulated the new president for his emergence. He enjoined him to adhere strictly to the constitution of Rotary Club international and also uphold its ideals.

Rotary Club International, with over 2 millions members all over the world is about service to humanity. This has been the hallmark of the organisation for over 116 years of existence.

Epe Rotary Club members would be working in tandem to bring reprieve into the lives of the underprivileged in the society.
