There are clear indications that the Nigeria Police Force may start arresting advocates of the “No gree for anybody” slogan.
The slogan has been gaining increasing usage especially amongst youths in the country, and the police is of the opinion that ‘No Gree For Anybody could become a trigger to violence.
It is thus ready to checkmate such.
.Many believe the slang is about staying true to one’s beliefs and not easily succumbing to the influence of others.

Lagos State police command spokesperson, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, expressed the determination of the police to arrest anyone found uttering “No gree for anybody” at a press conference yesterday.
Quoting intelligence reports, he said the slogan had potential to incite a revolution within the country.
“Let me say that the new slogan for 2023, 2024 for our young ones is ‘no go gree for anybody.’
“We have been informed from our intelligence that this slogan is coming from a revolutionary sector that may likely cause problem across the country.
“‘No go gree for anybody’ is being seen as just a normal talk, but in security business, in the security community, we have seen it as a very dangerous slogan that can trigger crisis.”

Those who share similar sentiments, refer to the mutual distrust between the police and young people suspected of indulging in internet fraud.
They add that the new slogan could thus become a rallying point to stand up against the men of the force or in fact, foment trouble.
