VIDEO: Harry Kane Provides Insane Assist To Send Man United Out Of Champions League
Former Manchester United target Harry Kane produced a brilliant assist to help catapult Erik ten Hag’s side out of the Champions League with a 1-0 loss.
England captain Kane, who was a target for the Premier League team before he ultimately joined Bayern this summer, released Kingsley Coman with a deft touch, and Coman gave goalkeeper Andre Onana no chance on Tuesday in front of the Stretford End at Old Trafford. Bayern won the group and advanced with Copenhagen, whereas United ultimately lost 1-0 and was eliminated from the competition at the group stage.

United’s Champions League run ended up being a complete disaster. Their record of four points from six games is the lowest of any Champions League match, and their 15 goals conceded is the highest of any Premier League team during any group stage of the competition. The future is dire right now, and manager Erik ten Hag is struggling to keep his position. This season, it appears that the Red Devils are also farther away from taking home championships.
Ten Hag’s club will now have a difficult trip to Liverpool, the league leaders, on Sunday. They will aim to avoid repeating their 7-0 loss to the Reds from their previous visit at Anfield. On Sunday when Bayern hosts Stuttgart, Kane will be looking to add to his ridiculous total of 30 goal contributions this season.
