Man United Share Return Dates For Injured Duo Eriksen, Hojlund

Updates on Rasmus Hojlund and Christian Eriksen from Manchester United have been released following their Saturday injuries sustained against Luton Town.
Eriksen received treatment on a couple of occasions before making way for Mason Mount at half-time of Saturday’s win. His compatriot, Hojlund, laboured through the latter stages of the game before being replaced by Anthony Martial. On Monday, United confirmed that both had been withdrawn from the Denmark squad to face Slovenia and Northern Ireland and provided details of the injuries.

Eriksen will miss a month of action due to a knee injury, according to United’s announcement. Despite Hojlund’s diagnosis of a strained muscle, the team believes the 20-year-old will be back in action before the end of the month.
It has been an injury-plagued season for United. Prior to Saturday’s game, Erik ten Hag’s team had to cope with the loss of the Danish pair as the Red Devils struggled to finish the game against newly-promoted Luton. They also had to deal with the disruption of losing Lisandro Martinez, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Tyrell Malacia, Casemiro, Jonny Evans, and Luke Shaw.
