This has become a big question even for those people who may be earning big currently. In fact, it is commonly said in investment environments that what is important, is not how much one earns, but how much he is able to save.

Stretching the argument, some people say, that no one could say he had achieved anything except he has been able to plan for a secure happy future.
There are abundant examples, of some people who got to the peak of their careers, headed their corporations or elite departments, but who shortly after leaving such plum jobs found themselves miserable and unable to sustain themselves and families.

It is difficult to aspire to achieve anything meaningful in life without adequate planning. Planning is a deliberate effort that sees your future in the context of your present. It factors all your assets and liabilities and allocates figures to each.
Income is key here, because there is nothing to be achieved without the wise deployment of money. Huge or small, plan your resources, budgeting being an important aid in income and expenditure planning.
