Ajadi Storms Kano, Set To Work With Governor-Elect, Abba
Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi, the governorship candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party in Ogun, is in Kano, to felicitate with the newly elected governor there, Yusuf Kabir Abba .
He had earlier issued a congratulated to the Kano State counterpart, before physically leading a strong delegation there.
After meeting the Kano governor elect, and the NNPP presidential flag bearer, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, Ajadi issued a statement saying the duo deserved to be commended for the far they had helped the party.
Ajadi was accompanied on the trip by his running mate, Alhaja Shakirat Idris Arowolo; campaign Director-General and National Southwest Secretary, Comrade Babatunde Oke, as well as Head of Campaign Strategy, Oladayo Kilamuwaye Badmus.
Others on the entourage are Ogun Central Senatorial Women Leader, Bagbansoro Precious and media aide, Lawal Abdulaih.
Speaking to journalists after the visit, Ajadi said it was to forge a more solid alliance within the NNPP.

The young politician noted that his team, Abba and Kwankwaso agreed to work together in order to build a New Nigeria and a new Kano to the benefit the masses.
Ajadi also showered praises on the new governor elect, saying his popularity and goodwill spoke for him at the polls.
“To defeat the ruling party is not child’s play. Abba and NNPP have shown that this is possible.
“The people believe in his ability to lead and it was clear to all that the election was the decision of the people of Kano.”
According to Ajadi, Abbah’s victory was a lesson for all, that everyone mattered in politics, and that it takes the goodwill of the people for anyone to emerge victorious at the polls.
