Heroic Entry Into Yelwa

New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP) gubernatorial candidate, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo Saturday, made a heroic entry into Yewa North Local Government.

This was in continuation of his grassroots campaign onwards the 2023 general elections.

There, he and members of his entourage were welcome by an army of supporters both young and old.

As usual, Ambassador Ajadi mounted the podium dishing out campaign highlights of his campaign manifesto.

He reiterated his commitment to ensuring safety of lives and property of the Ogun people, by amongst others, providing surveillance cameras at strategic places, motivating security personnel in the state, in addition to strengthening the operations of regional vigilantes groups.

From location to location, the crowd was there for Ambassador Ajadi

Trying to establish a link between joblessness and crime, Ajadi said his manifesto prioritises youth employment as a way of checkmating crime, declaring that skilled artisans, manufacturers and other business people, would have regular electricity to sustain production, increase their capacity and employ more people.

According to him, a collaboration with private sector firms both local and international had been developed, with the aim of ensuring regular electricity supply in the state.

He promised to bring to an end the agonies of pensioners through a prompt settlement of their entitlements, and to also empower women with interest-micro credits and empowerment initiatives.

Ajadi said through the principle of affirmation, that more women than ever before would be given portfolios women in his cabinet

In the area of agriculture, he spoke about empowering people across the local governments to exploit products for which their areas are proficient.

Such local governments would host processing facilities set up by the state government aimed at boosting marketing of such products and introducing small scale manufacturing chains along the line.

The state chairman of the party, Comrade Sunday Oginni Olaposi also took time to speak the people urging them to embrace the NNPP and vote the party’s candidates massively in the upcoming elections.

This he said, would ensure the Ogun people accessed the ironically elusive dividends of democracy.
