Vinai Venkatesham, CEO of Arsenal, claims the club is prepared to spend during the January transfer window due to links to Mkyhalio Mudryk and Youri Tielemans.

With the addition of Gabriel Jesus, Oleksandr Zinchenko, and Fabio Vieira to Mikel Arteta’s team in the summer of 2022, the Gunners made a great investment.

The north London team has moved to the top of the Premier League standings after a successful season, but more depth can yet be added to their roster as rumors say that highly-regarded players from Shakhtar Donetsk and Leicester City are being lined up.

About Arsenal’s objectives for the upcoming winter transfer window, Venkatesham spoke with Sky Sports; “We have got a very clear plan, headed up by Edu, about what we want to do to strengthen the squad. Every transfer window, of course we are going to look to see what opportunities are out there. If something makes sense from a technical perspective and a financial perspective, of course we’ll look at it. We are happy with the squad that we have got, but of course we’ll have a look at what’s around in every single transfer window. We have got a long-term plan to continue to strengthen the team.”
