Man Accuses Brother Of N40,000 Theft, Forces Him To Commit…
The community of Kwanan Waya, Yola South, Adamawa has been thrown into mourning over the death of one Mr Iliya Adamu.
The 34-year-old was said to have committed suicide over N40,000 theft allegations laid against him by his brother.
According to Dailypost, the path to Adamu’s end began about eight months ago when the brother, whose name could not be obtained up to press time, first raised the alarm of losing his money and blaming it on Adamu.
After refuting the accusation of theft against him from his brother for approximately seven months, it was learned on Tuesday that he had made up his mind to end it all at the weekend.

The incidents of suicide is on the increase in Nigeria. It is one sad trend in our society in these trying times. The alleged crime of the stolen Forty thousand Naira should not be enough reason for anyone to end his or her life. I appeal to all governments at all levels of our Federation to start a serious campaign to educate our citizens in respect of our mental health. All NGOs should also intensive efforts to discourage people from commiting suicide. Enough of this evil trend
